Stay at the Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa
Checking into the Casa Laguna!
Next time you are in Laguna Beach, California, stay at the scenic boutique Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa. Casa Laguna sits in the hills overlooking the ocean just south of the main strip. Frank Miller built this house in the 1900s for his wife Marion. The house was inspired by the mission style architecture. Casa Laguna has been operating as a hotel since 1946. The hotel has passed ownership several times over the years but has always preserved the classic mission-style decor.
LOBBY
The interior has a very moroccan vibe going on with the bright patterned tiles. I instantly loved it when we walked in!
ROOM
When we booked, we reserved the the Ocean View room on the balcony. After arriving to Casa Laguna, the first thing they told us was that they had upgraded us to the Junior Suite. It was so nice! Every single once of the staff members there were very kind and hospitable. This is the room that we would have had. I love that all the rooms have different color schemes
Grounds
I felt like I was on some relaxing retreat while I was there. Their spa and Sauna are located beneath the lobby for some extra indulgence time! I had a great time wandering around all the plazas where the rooms are. Casa Laguna is my Mediterranean garden goals!
Amenities
Finally, you can't miss the pool, spa, and sauna. The sauna is brand new and was put in this year! Breakfast is served every morning for guests. They serve the best sweet and savory crepes! While you are lounging and tanning at the pool, the waitstaff is there to bring you cocktails, food, and whatever you need. So order that Mai Tai or green smoothie and enjoy yourself!
BEACH
And finally the beach!! The closest beach is a 10 minute walk to Victoria beach. Just ask the front desk to borrow some umbrellas and chairs and they are more than happy to supply!
