The Do's and Don'ts of a Columbus Halloween
Halloween is a holiday that fulfills so many purposes at different stages in your life. When you are a kid, its about the candy and the pumpkin carving. By the time you get to college, its about the the parties and drinking a lot. Now that I am pushing 30,Halloween is about getting a group of your besties together in the same town and doing every Halloween activity you possibly can because you are just so damn excited to be with each other again! After spending Halloween in Columbus, Ohio, I learned a couple of rules on how to have the best Halloween with you best group of gals ever!
Halloween DO's andDONT'S
Do
Dress up in a group outfit
DO
take several Group Photos as if you had your own personal photo shoot
DO
remember to check which bars are throwing Halloween Themed parties
DON'T
forget to check whether the festivities at the bars are not going on at the same time as a OSU or World Series game - ghost town...and not in the we all dressed up as ghosts way
DO
listen to your friend when she tells you the $3 Plastic Halloween cups are worth it to buy from CVS'
DON'T
buy a blood orange margarita without asking them to hold the Jalapeño juice *blech*
DON'T
go around telling everyone that you are 'spreading your seed' when the stick on seeds to your costume keep falling off - apparently its annoying :)
DON'T
forget to remind your fellow Ohioan friend to make you buckeyes - seriously Sara! how did you forget to feed my authentic buckeyes!
DO
remind you best friends that they are wonderful beautiful people that you would be nothing without them :)
Do
post all your photos online of the best weekend ever because you rarely get to see these lady bosses anymore.@caitydid@wordsmitch@jenniegeeeI hope you had a Happy Halloween and share your favorite costumes/memories in the comments below!!
